Swedish version up above-(American version; Charlie the short necked Giraffe)
If you are a big fan of giraffes as I am, you and your little one will enjoy this wonderful story of a short neck giraffe. Charlie struggles with peer pressure and self-esteem issues, all while trying to help his fellow friends and family. Everyone can relate. I am pleased to say that my daughter Arie loves this book so much. Animation pictures are awesome.

Few things about Julie that I loved;

1) I like my cool whip kept in the freezer so that it's hard like ice cream.

2)I find York peppermint patties addictive.

3) I prefer toilet paper over the top so that I can make the nice little point and look formal for company.

4) As a child I used to peel the stickers off bananas and stick them under furniture. My mom says she still finds them.

5)I like fishing the old fashioned way with worms...this is one of my favorite things I used to do with my dad, search the yard for the best bait and see who could catch the most for dinner.

6)I am constantly learning and improving...I vow to only get better.

7) I like watching football on TV. and baseball live.

8)I love exploring!

9) I enjoy an excuse to dress up, especially if it's to go to the theater.

10) I generally prefer oils to water colors.

11) The top five languages I would like to learn are Russian, French, Hebrew, Greek and Japanese.

12) It took me way too long to figure out that I can't change the past and that I really have a wonderful life!

13) I love historical true stories, especially those set around the time of Napoleon or Hitler.

14) I am fascinated by true mysteries.

15) I fully intend to live a full, healthy life until at least 133 years and then I'd like to go quickly, maybe breaststroke by lightning.

16) open umbrellas make me nervous...those little pointing things around the edge always seem to be aimed at my eyes.

17)When I eat, I like to take bites of food in different orders to experience all the possible taste combinations.

18) As a child I used to get up early Saturday morning and eat a banana, a Kraft Single with a glass of orange juice, while watching cartoons until my mom came down to make breakfast.

19)I love palm trees!

20) I am a realistic idealist.

21)God is all I Need. Everything else I have is a gift from Him.

22)My favorite color is green.

23)I'd like to design my own home someday and decorate every room in the style of a different country.

24) I love the beach.

25) I have to admit that I would some day like to have an Oscar...why not? :-)

Julie described her inspiration for her novels were from a spontaneous moment of reading a DNA magazine. How strange, and incredible it is to created a world from simplicity. I am currently drowning and loving every minute of them. I admire the female empowerment and knowledge of Alice's personality. There is an intrigue and fire in her that I could only wish to have.

Congratulations to Julie for your amazing efforts and I truly  wish for your deserving success in the future. And striving to be as great of a writer as you someday is a goal never forgotten.
